The Geminid meteor shower peaks tonight at 10 pm and will be active till midnight on 14 December. The meteor shower will be active from 10 pm on 13 December and will reach its peak by 2 am on 14 December.

The radiant point of the Geminid meteor shower is located in the constellation Gemini, and it will get to the highest point in the sky by 2 am midnight. During the peak hours of the Geminids meteor shower, you can see around 120 meteors per hour, and if lucky enough, one can also spot a fireball!

You can watch the meteor shower with bare eyes, and there’s no need for a binocular or a telescope. The meteors are bright, and they can emerge from anywhere in the sky (near the radiant point).
